This support information is to help with knowledge base and the commonly used tools that further enhance, game experience for your players, admins and moderators. There are many tools to support servers. The references here are  some main tools that are vastly becoming the most commonly acceptable additions that increase the functionality gameplay! Assistance to  support Admins. Defaults such as Allocs Server Fixes “A Fun Pimp”  Developer of 7 Days To Die.

PUBLIC VS MODDED

Note: Adding any or all of these plugins to your mod folder does not make your server turn to the modded list.


Modded will take place if you directly edit your serverconfig.xml or  any of the games xml the game values beyond the normal configuration that’s set by default. You may also find your server move from public to modded if you add – Expansion packs Additional Blocks or Patches/Prefabs/Kits that are done or created by enthusiasts, authors and other third parties.

1 Allocs.

The Official Fun Pimps Server Fixes, These are a must for any server. And usage of SM’s and other plugins usually require allocs fixes to be installed. IMPORTANT You need to update these fixes with every minor or major alpha release. Your server should also be offline when adding or updating Mods/Plugins/Expansions.

2  Server Tools

High ping kicker with ping immunity. Can add players to the immunity list in servertoolsconfig.xml or via telnet and also the in-game F1 Console.

Ban or kick players for invalid items/blocks in their inventory such as reinforced concrete blocks. Select what items/blocks are Announceinvaliditem via config.
Alert players of Invalid Item stack numbers in their inventory.
Chat logger. Saves all ingame chat to a log file in the game save directory.
MOTD: Message of the Day. adjustable via config.
InfoTicker/Scrolling messages adjustable via config.
Auto save the world every x amount of minutes adjustable via config.
Watchlist You can add suspect players to this list and when they join the server it will alert any online admins that they are online.

4 CBSM .

Recommended for Beginners Is cloud based server manager and helps massively with server administration and multiple server management. It has a vast range of tools and requires Allocs Server Fixes to be installed for full features.

CBSM is Free, Although there are a few features which require a License. you can check the features out and sign-up at www.envul.com

Your Dedicated server will run without any of the above but using them will give you a massive admin advantage.

Place the Mods into a folder named Mods, place this in your server games root folder /7DaysToDie/
